The only thing that really shakes me from the firm belief that Bo Geol = Ki Ho is that he was able to stand and watch her sing THAT song into the night sky and not burst into tears. Dude's got a heck of a poker face.
I like your point about how they don't show his reactions in these earlier episodes. I wonder if we'll get "reaction flashbacks", since I think we all want to see how he felt when he first realized who this castaway his brother discovered was.
Oh absolutely. His lack of reaction to FINALLY finding Mok-ha after waiting for 15 years was the no. 1 reason we all focused on Woo-hak. 😄 They owe us flashbacks of his reactions just to close the emotional loop. 🙌
And I think they did a good job explaining the situation from his perspective to fill in how he could hold back the tears watching her sing, since at the time he would also have been thinking about the danger she potentially posed to his family.
And with how the camera was avoiding showing reaction shots from him. 😄 But I'm genuinely glad they chose this way of doing things. We wouldn't have had so much Woo-hak without it, and he's a darling.

Well, we got one!

I'm pretty sure it's Bo-geol, but I'm kinda mad about it, because Woo-hak is my favorite, too. Sigh. Boy is gonna break my heart, isn't he?
A very Park Hye-ryun thing to do, no? 😅
From the shoe scene I instantly knew who Ki-ho was! And I agree, I too quite like Woo-hak!

Okay, I just finished with episode 5. Idk why now I’m royally confused as to who is Ki-ho. Is it Woo-hak? 😭🥲
I'm pretty sure it's Ki-ho and we're being served some red, red herring. 😄
